JX Product Concept
Jalousie louvre frame, 63 mm module
- Square-cut assembled fixed frame.
- Opening louvres in curved aluminium or glass at 135 mm intervals.
- Hinging and protection ensured by overlapping polyamide end caps enabling opening to 80°.
- Weatherproofing ensured by marine-quality EPDM gaskets or polyethylene brush gasket.
- Stainless steel screws.
- Operation by lever handle, turn handle or knob
- Driver rods in Zamac alloy.
Options
- Installation on single inside sill.
- Installation on inside sill with self locating system.
- Fly screen, removable for cleaning.
- Reinforced security by 5 mm Ø cross rod.

Blade Seals
- JX Louvre blades to close against EDPM seals fitted to both louvre jamb sections with glass filled moulded end fittings. Long edge of blade closes to EDPM seal fitted to top edge of security blade holder.
Standard operating mechanism
- To be lever handle with 4 locking positions from fully closed to fully open (80 Degrees). Lever handle is available in moulded nylon or Polished stainless steel (Suitable for Map Rod, manual remote control or 12V electronic operation with water sensing and reopen after rain facility or other sensing devices including attachment to fire protection systems which fully open the louvres and lock until the fire alarms are reinstated
- NB Motor drives are fitted to the Jalousie frame and may only be practical in out of reach areas or for use by the disabled

Insect Screen
- To be fitted internally into surround frame sections. Plastic or other types of turn clips are not to be used.
Blade Lengths
- 6mm glass, aluminium extruded or timber blades to a maximum opening size of 900mm requiring a water penetration rating to 400pa and design wind pressure up to 3300 kpa.
Additional security
- Each security blade holder to be fitted with 6mm stainless steel bar.
Balustrade Code
- All louvre units shall conform to balustrade code and shall have a maximum space of no less than 115mm between.
