Standard Conception

Features

Fixed Frame

  • Sections: 63 mm module squarecut assembled by screws and screw sockets (stainless steel screws).
  • Weatherproofing: by EPDM or polyethylen brush gaskets on upright sections and each horizontal transom. Water drainage via bottom transom.
  • Fastening: to the building structure by clip-in capping section.
  • Outside sill/architrave: directly by clipping into the grooves in the fixed frame.
  • Integration: juxtaposition of frames, realization of ribbon /stacked frames, composition with casement or slider frame from Topaze series, removable fly screen, glazed storm sash.

Louvres

  • Sections: curved aluminium or glass louvres fitted with nylon end caps, open to 80°, interval of 135 mm.
  • Weatherproofing : by EPDM gasket on each louvre.
  • Infill system: by 5 to 6.6 mm U-shaped EPDM gasket for glass louvres, laminated 33/2 recommended on basement.
  • Options: combination of glass and aluminium louvres. Possibility of intermediate transom on glass louvre version only.

Maneuvers

  • Louvre opening system by rods fitted with pins that directly operate the louvre end caps.
  • Operated by lever handles or knobs for symmetric and simultaneous opening of louvres to 80°.
  • Spring-loaded compensator for easy operation of louvres according to dimensions.

Variants

  • Installation of fixed frame either:
    • on bottom transom only,
    • on single inside sill section,
    • on inside sill section with trim.
  • Accommodates fly screen on front of frame.
  • Accommodates operable glazed storm window.
